Documentary on Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Screened at Barbatia High School, Patashpur; Birth Anniversary to be Observed on Monday

Alakesh Maity, Patashpur, July 5: Barbatia High School (H.S.) in the Patashpur-II Block of East Medinipur has taken the initiative to educate the younger generation about the life, ideals, and contributions of ‘Bharatkesari’ Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee.

A trial screening of a short documentary—lasting approximately 20 minutes—was conducted on the school premises on Saturday. Headmaster Ashish Kumar Mishra stated that the documentary has been prepared for students ranging from Class V to Class XII.

The documentary covers various aspects of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s life, including his education, political career, stance on the Kashmir issue, and contributions to social service.

The Headmaster further informed that Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee’s birth anniversary falls on the coming Monday, July 6. The occasion will be observed locally at 8:00 AM, featuring a discussion meeting and a special tribute-paying ceremony.

Such initiatives aim to foster a sense of national consciousness, patriotism, inquisitiveness, and moral values ​​among the students.
